Kernel crash on cosmos2 on 22 Sept

Dear Users,

Kernel on cosmos2 crashed today around 5am. At this stage we are not sure if the issue is related to our recent problems with RAID controller on the machine. As we are collecting diagnosing data cosmos2 remains unavailable.

Update

Cosmos2 is back online since 18:15. However we will probable need to schedule a maintenance period on a short scale some day next week. We will post information about exact date after receiving confirmation from our vendor.

Problems with system disks on cosmos2 on 19 September

On 19 September around 1pm RAID controller that supports system disks on cosmos2 reported firmware errors and cut access to them. Consequently it was necessary to reboot cosmos2 to with the loss of jobs running on it at that moment. Cosmos2 was brought back to service at around 5pm. We apologise for the caused inconvenience.

Cosmos2 not available

Cosmos2 is currently not available. The monitoring shows that it became unresponsive a little before midnight of 13 September. We are investigating the issue and will try to bring it back to service as soon as possible.

Cosmos2 is now back online.

Power cut on 9 September 2017

Dear Users,

We have been informed about a planned electrical power shut-down that affects server room where Cosmos machines are hosted.

Therefore all Cosmos machines will not be available starting from 8am on Saturday, 9 September 2017. According to current predictions they should be back in service by 6pm.

We apologise for the inconvenience cost by the shut-down.

Power cut affecting cosmos machines on 24 August

Dear Users,

Today around 9 am there was a power cut that affected whole site where Cosmos machines are hosted. Cosmos2 and cosmic were brought back to service around noon. We apologise for the caused inconvenience.
